Ride’s iconic 1990 debut album Nowhere celebrates its 25th anniversary next month, and the legendary shoegaze band will be celebrating appropriately with a 22-date North American tour. We’ve already marked the October 3 Boston show at the Paradise on our calendars, and now Ride has added a West Coast leg as well as initial support from New York guitar-rock band DIIV and Canadian indie rock quartet the Besnard Lakes.
We here in Boston will get the Besnard Lakes as openers, while DIIV will open four Ride shows at the start of the tour: Washington DC, New Haven, Philadelphia, and the first of two gigs at New York’s Irving Plaza. West coast support will announced at a later date.
Check out Ride performing “Leave Them All Behind” back in June at New York’s Terminal 5, scan their full list of North American shows down below, and stay tuned for our extended Q&A with Ride guitarist Andy Bell, set to run next week.
