Every year on the eve of Allston’s Great September Move-In, there are U-Hauls in the streets, crap all over the sidewalks, and love in the air. A recent dance party at neighborhood dive the Model Cafe has led one lonely heart to pen a haiku about her encounter, and it showed up on Craigslist’s Missed Connections yesterday.

said you had nice moves.
you said the same back to me.
then I ran away.
We’ve all been there. It’s a late-summer romance mystery, and just proves that Allston is the true heartbeat of Boston. Hopefully this dude moves into her life very soon… but if not, there’s always the Sil at last call for another shot at love.
