Natural Procession: Funeral Advantage announce fall tour in support of debut LP

A little while back we were excited to pass along new music from Funeral Advantage, the excellent Massachusetts-based dream-pop project from Tyler Kershaw. After a string of successful seven-inch releases, Funeral Advantage now lays down the album gauntlet with debut LP Body Is Dead, due August 28 on several formats (digitally, on tape, and on limited edition 12-inch vinyl) via New York boutique label the Native Sound.

Of course with new albums comes new tours, so we’re now psyched to learn that those in the Boston area will have two chances to catch Funeral Advantage live and in action this September: first at the record release party September 3 at Great Scott in Allston with Bent Shapes, Lost Film, and the reunited Magic Mac, and then on September 25 at Out Of The Blue Too in Central Square, Cambridge.

The latter date is part of a seven-date East Coast swing that also hits Providence’s Club Aurora (September 24) and Palisades in Brooklyn (September 26). Check the full dates via the flyer below, and preview two fresh new tracks off Body Is Dead via the Native Sound’s Soundcloud.
