Well, it’s America’s birthday weekend, and there might not be anything more appropriate than the premiere of Aweosmith frontman Steven Tyler’s new country music video, “Love Is Your Name.”
The 67-year-old singer and American Idol judge previewed the video this morning on Good Morning America, and you can watch it below via ABC News (because America!). The song debuted back in May, and reached number 33 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, according to Blabbermouth, but the full album won’t be finished until after Aerosmith completes a two-month summer tour.
“I’ve got to find time to come back and record these songs after the Aerosmith tour,” Tyler tells USA Today. “But I flit from flower to flower, country to country, looking for good times and singing about the last time. That’s what I’m putting into the country songs.”
“Love Is Your Name” was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, and the video was shot just outside the city. Tyler is signed to Dot Records, a part of the Big Machine Label Group that works with Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw).
