Watch Class Actress’ Twin Peaks- and Bret Easton Ellis-inspired video for ‘More Than You’

Last week were seduced yet again by Elizabeth Harper, as New York-based electronic pop project Class Actress delivered their first bit of new music in four years. Like most things that purr between the sheets, the glitzy, synthy “More Than You” was worth the wait, and set the tone for a big year ahead: Class Actress today announced new EP Movies, a collaborative effort with executive producer Giorgio Moroder that drops June 23 via Casablanca/Republic Records, and along with that news is the music video for the record’s lead single.

In it, Harper trades the bright lights of New York for the brighter ones of Los Angeles, and the “More Than You” video is a sleek combination of the behind-the-curtain creepiness of Twin Peaks and the stylized ’80s excess world of Bret Easton Ellis’ West Coast work.

It’s a suitable vibe for Harper, and the perfect visual for what’s already one of the best tracks of 2015. Check out the video below, and the album artwork for Movies after the clip.
