“So Help Me God.”
It could be a plea, a cry for help, or the title of his new album — either way, Kanye West made an announcement via Twitter this morning. And many agree it’s the name of his upcoming album.
West tweeted out the tagline just after midnight Eastern time on March 1, along with an image of “a 13th Century monastic symbol for the Virgin Mary,” according to Stereogum, that’s rumored to be the So Help Me God artwork. Peep it below.
The new effort from ‘Ye is shaping up nicely. His collaboration with Sia and Vic Mensa, “Wolves,” has been well-received after helping launch his Adidas line at New York Fashion Week, and we’ve already heard the Paul McCartney collab “Only One” and “All Day,” which he debuted at the Brit Awards last week.
So Help Me God is the follow-up to 2013’s Yeezus. No release date has been established, so expect it eventually with little advance notice.
