Little by little, details are emerging about Chameleons Vox’s North American tour for Fall 2015, when Mark Burgess’ resurrected post-punk band will perform 1983 debut record Script of the Bridge in its entirety. A few weeks ago select dates started popping up on listings sites, and recently Burgess took to Facebook to outline the September and October itinerary, though no venues have been included.
Important for us: the Script of the Bridge tour comes to Boston on October 4. Exactly where, however, remains to be seen.
“Proud to announce the return of Chameleons Vox, performing Script of the Bridge in its entirety across the United States,” Burgess wrote on Facebook. “These dates are subject to change and not all are set in stone so please feel free to contact us.”
The Chameleons Vox story has strong ties to Boston. Back in Summer 2009, Burgess performed an impromptu set with Worcester’s Curtain Society at Faneuil Hall bar Hennessey’s; watch video of that performance down below.
