Tonight’s the night!
One of the key pieces in the programming expansion of VanyaRadio is Heartbeats, a new 120-minute show spotlighting new sounds in electro-pop, dream-pop, synth-pop and all the other pop that sparkles and shines.
The show is hosted by Nicole Marie (Orchids, Doom Lover, Stereo Telescope) and airs twice each week, on Sunday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. EST.
The show takes its name from the 2012 Casey Desmond song, “Heartbeat.”
Tune in tonight (and again on Tuesday) for tracks from PAWWS, Verite, Charli XCX, Let’s Wait, Electric Youth, WET, Tove Lo, Prides, EVVY, a double shot of Sky Ferreira, and more.

“Heartbeats” will showcase the latest sounds in the ever-evolving world of electronic music, from electro-pop to ambient sounds, all a reflection of the 24/7 VanyaRadio playlist with a tighter focus.
“‘Heartbeats’ is practically tailor-made for my taste and ambitions in the local and global music community,” says host Nicole Marie. “Not only as DJ, but to present a show in which I get to play and discuss some of my biggest influences, new inspirations, favorite newcomers who deserve a listen, and strong gorgeous voices that sing the words and melodies that send me reeling. Oh, and some awesome shit I just love to sing with in the shower!”
