Vanyaland Premiere: The Impulse Powers salute ‘Knutsford’ before Tiny Festival of Huge Proportions

These days most festivals try to appear larger than what they are. But the upcoming Tiny Festival of Huge Proportions is keeping its scope small while eying big results, and those results are aimed to benefit the music therapy program at Mass General Hospital’s Cancer Center.

On board for the October 19 all-ages matinee show at Cafe 939 in Boston are Sound Of Our Town alumni the Grownup Noise, Vanyaland faves the Wrong Shapes, and the Impulse Powers, a Boston-via-Manchester-UK quartet that today released a new video for latest single “Knutsford.”

The video was directed by Michael J Epstein & Sophia Cacciola, and proceeds from the sale of its accompanying EP, City Songs, also go to MGH. The aforementioned fund raiser event doubles as the Impulse Powers’ release party as well, and details on that can be found after the video jump.
