British musician FKA Twigs has been the target of online racism after it was revealed she has been dating Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Twenty-six-year-old Tahliah Barnett, who as FKA Twigs is playing a sold-out Brighton Music Hall on November 11, yesterday revealed that she’s been harassed via Twitter by racist trolls who apparently live in a fantasy world where Pattinson and his Twilight co-star and former flame Kristen Stewart are still together and in love.
“I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week. She followed it up with: “Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it’s unacceptable online.”
Sure enough, even those remarks were met with random instances of the n-word showing up in the reply thread. Though most have supported FKA Twigs in replies. Follow along to the madness below.

Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it's unacceptable online.

FKA Twigs’ record label, London-based Young Turks, also spoke out…
The racist abuse @FKAtwigs is getting on her social networks is despicable and depressingly archaic.

Up to all of us to help educate the abusive parties on how hateful their views are and that social media actually links back to real people

In the meantime we can all report, block, and ban the abusive parties from social networks. Love all at YT.
