It seems like only yesterday they were crushing it in front of thousands as the opening hometown act at May’s Boston Calling. Now Magic Man have their national television debut under their belts.
The Boston-Providence synth-pop band performed their hit “Paris” last night on Late Night With Seth Meyers, showing off one of the standout tracks on this spring’s Before The Waves LP. This rendition goes easy on the electronic side of their musical style, and comes off as something from a more traditional indie-pop ensemble. Either way, the song still kills, which is why we’ve been spinning it all summer on Vanya Radio.
This fall, Magic Man will be headed out on a North American tour with Smallpools, Panama Wedding, and Waters. It hits Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on October 26, and you can peep the full run of dates via their Twitter announcement below.
