Last week Miley Cyrus Instagrammed two images of riot grrl icon Kathleen Hanna, both from the early-’90s during Hanna’s time in Bikini Kill. Cyrus declared Hanna the “coolest ever.”
People on the internet, at least in our circles, were wondering what Hanna thought of it; the Julie Ruin Facebook page posted a link to a NY Mag article about the “tribute,” but many wondered how Hanna specifically felt about the shout-out.
Turns out, Hanna has collaboration on her mind.
This morning, she reached out via Twitter.

Well color us excited.
There’s no response yet from the Bangerz singer, but there’s no doubt one will be coming. In the meantime, we’re glad our original headline of Kathleen Hannah Montana has gained some national traction.
