Taking Stockholm: Watch future Swedish superstar Tove Lo perform on ‘Late Night’

Back in March after SXSW we joined a growing rumble declaring Tove Lo the next big Swedish pop star to break in the United States. Since then, everyone from VH1 to Bullett has joined the party, and it’s likely to rage on until morning.

Last night, Tove Lo made her stateside late-night television debut on Late Night with Seth Myers. The 26-year-old singer born Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson perform “Habits (Stay High)” and sweet little heartbreak-pop number that’s all about eating Twinkies, throwing up, and doing whatever it takes to get a certain someone off her brain. The track is off her Truth Serum EP, which dropped in March.

We’ve been spinning it on Vanya Radio since our Valentine’s Day launch, but since we’re a culture that likes images to complement our sounds, check out the video of the performance below.
