Broad Street Bully: NHL Playoff game forces rescheduling of Miley Cyrus concert in Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Flyers aren’t exactly wrecking balls when it comes to the National Hockey League playoffs, but they can still force Miley Cyrus to reschedule a sold-out concert. Cyrus’ upcoming show at the Wells Fargo Center has been moved up a day, from April 22 to April 21, to accommodate the Flyers’ Game 3 match against the New York Rangers in the NHL’s opening round of the playoffs.

Cyrus played Boston last week, bringing some of her own Bangerz to the TD Garden well before Milan Lucic and company drop the puck in their latest quest for the Stanley Cup. The Bruins’ series starts Friday.

The NHL Playoff schedule was finalized and released tonight after today’s conclusion of the 2013-2014 regular season.

Here’s the word from Live Nation:

ATTENTION: Due to the first-round Stanley Cup Playoff series, Live Nation is rescheduling the sold out BANGERZ TOUR concert from Tuesday, April 22 to Monday, April 21 at the Wells Fargo Center.

Patrons holding tickets to the newly rescheduled date should hold onto their tickets as all tickets will be honored on the new date.
