[dropcap]O[/dropcap]ur ears are still ringing from last week’s Boston & Beyond party at SXSW, a collaborative effort between Berklee College of Music and us here at Vanyaland. We had such a great time at Austin’s Brush Square Park that we decided to drop this 10-track compilation today, spotlighting our favorite performances from the afternoon under the outdoor tent.
And in case you missed the live broadcast on VanyaRadio all-day Thursday, March 13, here’s a good way to catch up on all the action. From the country-twang of Ashley Alexander and the pitch-perfect pop of Air Traffic Controller to the stomping Americana fire of Cask Mouse and the Latin spark of Los Rumberos, a wide cross-section of Boston music was well-represented throughout the day.
All the songs included here are pulled from our live recording of the show, and since mastered by Redefined.
