Each morning Hilary Hughes and I will be addressing the previous day’s SXSW action straight from the beds of our hotel room at the Hilton Garden Inn. Things obviously got off to a sad start after news broke just after midnight of a drunk driver killing two pedestrians and injuring two dozen more on Red River Street outside the Mohawk.
Most of last night was spent following the tragic news on Twitter and accounting for all of our friends through texts and social media.
It’s a weird feeling heading out into Austin right now to promote a “party,” but that’s what we’re going to do. Our Boston & Beyond event with Berklee is at noon today at Brush Square Park.
