The machines, they are taking us ohh-vah. And one of their first missions is replacing Damon Albarn (they must have taken issue with Everyday Robots). A bloke named Ritch Ames has recorded a subway ticket barrier on the UK’s Jubilee line singing Blur’s late-’90s party rocker “Song 2,” adding the necessary “woo-hoo!” while Albarn holds down the harder people parts.
He’s feeling heavy metal, no doubt.
Next up, how about a dishwasher singing “Common People,” or a toaster belting out “Metal Mickey”? She sells heart, she sells machines?
