Primal Scream have cancelled their May 14 gig at Royale, following up a string of cancellations last week for shows in the US and Canada. No reason has been given, but it appears the Scottish band’s entire North American run is falling apart.
Last week, Canadian website Exclaim reported that the Primals’ Toronto and Montreal shows had been cancelled, in addition to stateside gigs in Houston, Dallas and Memphis. Those US gigs were the first of a 12-date North American tour that concluded with the Canadian gigs.
The Boston date was the 10th show on the run, and the last US appearance.
