The biggest party of the young year is here, but the RSVP clock is ticking. Tonight’s Do617 launch party at the Paradise Rock Club promises to be all sorts of awesome, and we want you there to raise a glass with us and toast Boston’s newest one-stop-shop for music events around town.
But act now! The RSVP closes at noon EST. We’re already past the 1,200 mark, so this is gonna be a good one.
The party is presented by Budweiser Black Crown, and here’s what we have on tap: live performances from Boston Music Awards “Artist of the Year” Bad Rabbits, BMAs “Song of the Year” winners the Field Effect (for “Ogunquit, ME”), and electro-pop upstarts CliffLight. Winner of “DJ of the Year” at the recent BMAs and Boston Calling Music Festival in-house DJ Frank White spins the dance party before, between, and after the bands, and host D-Tension keeps us loose all night long.
In case you’re hungry for more than just music and Bud, we’ll have two of Boston’s finest food trucks, Roxy’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese and Avi/Chubby Chickpea, parked outside on Commonwealth Avenue. We’re already shoveling the snow to make room.
Oh, we also have like a million condoms we need to give away. And the Red Sox 2013 World Series trophy will be in the house and available for photos. Aaaaand we’ll be giving away concert tickets all night long via on-site social media and on-stage contests. Oh, also interactive social photography crew Pretty Instant will be in the house.
