Slaine taunts Toronto crowd over Bruins playoff comeback against the Maple Leafs

We’re about to drop the puck on another hockey season, and for some of us, it can’t come soon enough. But while most Toronto Maple Leaf fans would rather forget about their team’s epic opening-round Game 7 meltdown against the Bruins in last season’s playoffs, our city’s very own Slaine was all too eager to remind them on stage earlier this month.

The Boston rapper and The Town actor just got back from tour, and told 98.5 The Sports Hub’s this morning that he taunted the crowd at Toronto’s Rockpile on September 14.

“I said thank you for giving me the best Game 7 of my life,” Slaine told the Toucher And Rich show.

The Bruins charged back from a 4-1 deficit midway through the 3rd period to stun the Leafs, 5-4 in overtime, on Patrice “Rafters” Bergeron’s game-winner.

“My style is to bust balls,” Slaine continued, adding that he’s able to get away with it “as long as you don’t keep pounding. They take their hockey seriously.”

But even a man like Slaine has his limits.

“I didn’t do that in Montreal,” he added.

Oh hey…
