ManRay DJ and bartender announce Halloween reunion party at the Paradise

Halloween just got darker than usual.

After a successful reunion party at the Paradise Rock Club back in February, the faces behind ManRay have announced All Souls, a Halloween “official gathering” on October 31 that brings, for one night at least, the former Central Square underground nightclub back from the dead. Though details are scarce so far, guiding the party are ManRay resident DJ Chris Ewen and “bartendrix extraordinaire” Terri.

While ManRay closed in 2005, rumors of its resurrection resurface annually. As we await a new space to finally open, Ewen and Terri can currently can be found in action on Saturdays and certain Fridays for goth and new wave dance nights at T.T. The Bear’s Place in Cambridge (including the popular Heroes party), coincidentally located across the street from the old goth haunt on Brookline Street.

This latest ManRay reunion promises “performances, costume contests, and many surprises.” Check out the Facebook invite for updates, and advance tickets will be available soon.

Oddly enough, industrial legends KMFDM are at the Paradise the night before, so maybe Sascha Konietzko can host a sleepover or something.

Here’s the first flyer…
