How are things on the West Coast? Just ask this here surfer guy.
New York’s Interpol today released a video for new single “All The Rage Back Home,” the first bit of music off this September’s upcoming El Pintor. It’s a black and white clip with the post-punk band playing on while a young man surfs some tasty waves.
Since Interpol started playing select live shows earlier this year, including a homecoming appearance at Governors Ball and a string of New England club dates, crude fan video has provided a sneak preview of new material. But this is the first official offering off El Pintor, out September 9 through Matador Records. Check the album artwork after the video jump.
“All The Rage Back Home” is a pretty upbeat number once it kicks in, reminiscent of tracks off the band’s sophomore record, Antics.
