When it comes to the annual Rock And Roll Rumble, twenty-four bands enter and one band leaves. But before a championship is crowned, eight bands have to first escape the week-long preliminary round, April 12 to 14 and 16 to 18 at T.T. The Bear’s Place in Cambridge. By the week’s end there will be six nightly winners and two wild card entries, which will all move on to the two-night preliminary round (April 23 and 24).
Last week we learned who the bands were, and tonight, we see how they all match up. Rumble organizer Anngelle Wood is announcing the daily Rumble lineups, determined by pulling band names out of a hat, live on the air during WZLX’s Boston Emissions.
Here’s how things are shaking out; we’ll update the lineups as they are unveiled, so if you don’t feel like hitting “refresh” all night, roll back to scan the completed post sometime around midnight on the East Coast.
