If you stayed up late on the East Coast last night for some sort of celebration of Daylight Savings Time, you were given a special treat just before you kissed goodbye an hour of living. Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell joined Zac Brown Band on Saturday Night Live, performing “Heavy Is the Head” for the music group’s second some.

Last week, Zac Brown Band announced their new album, Jekyll + Hyde, out April 28 on a new partnership between Southern Ground, John Varvatos Records and Big Machine Label Group. “Our boundaries have dissolved and we’re going to still do things that are somewhat familiar that people like, but we’re also going to stretch out and take chances beyond what we’ve done before. Some people are going to be really surprised,” Brown told Rolling Stone Country in November.
Zac Brown Band return to Fenway Park this summer with two shows, August 7 and 8.
