There were all sorts of parties last night for the revealing of the May 2015 Boston Calling lineup. There were those out in the streets looking for artist clues in the annual Find the Vinyl scavenger hunt, there were those on social media RT’ing, Fav’ing and relaying news as it came in, and others were up at two Tasty Burger locations watching the whole lineup crystallize over videos and cheeseburgers.
For those not included in the last group, here’s what you missed: a cool ’70s-themed and “Sabotage”-inspired two-minute rollout video that unveiled all 23 artists, soundtracked by Tame Impala’s “Elephants.” That was probably a better choice than Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High),” though there are worse places to be stoned in this world than at Tasty Burger.
Check out the action-packed video below, as well as the lineup poster, and peep the ticket on-sale deets, which kicks off today at noon.
