The cult of Hozier has been growing by the day. And now less than a week after the Irish singer-songwriter packed out Cafe 939 for the latest Fenway Recording Sessions party, he’s announced he’s coming back for more this fall.
Boston sure does love a dude born on St. Patrick’s Day. Especially one getting compared to Jeff Buckley.
The man born Andrew Hozier-Byrne — in 1990, by the way — yesterday announced a new North American tour for the fall, and the Boston date stands out — Friday, October 31, Halloween night, at the Paradise Rock Club. Tickets went on sale this morning, and if recent gigs are any indication, they won’t last long (a move to the House of Blues seems likely that far out).
