Sylvan Esso’s gorgeous track “Coffee” has been percolating around the Vanyaland offices for a few weeks now, and there’s finally a proper video to go with it, courtesy of the fine folks over at Noisey. It’s the combo of Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn of Durham, North Carolina who developed the dreamy and multi-layered track encouraging us to “Get up, get down” so hypnotically that it’s pretty much impossible not to just give in.
“Coffee,” which hit the top spot on HypeMachine during its first week online back in January, appears on the duo’s self-titled debut, out May 13on Partisan Records with the 12” hitting shelves today. Sylvan Esso kick off a European tour tonight in Berlin, hooking up with Connecticut’s tUnE-yArDs come May in London before returning stateside and landing in Boston at Royale June 16
