[dropcap]A[/dropcap] mysterious artist known only as “jerseymilkcow” has given the internet quite a gift: an entire series of drawings depicting Britpop stars facing various inner city annoyances. Scenes from the series include Justine Frischmann receiving a parking ticket, Mark Morris from the Bluetones waiting for the bus, and Richard Ashcroft narrowly avoiding a militant cyclist.
But jerseymilkcow doesn’t stop there — the artist currently has a series about the everyday lives of Scottish rock stars going on his or her Twitter page. Stars — they’re just like us!
The only thing the Britpop series seems to be missing is Marion’s Jaime Harding standing confused in the spice aisle at Tesco asking, “Is there thyme?”
