James Blake won the 2013 Mercury Prize last night in London, taking home best album honors for Overblown and besting a pretty top-shelf field that included David Bowie, Foals, Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg, Disclosure, Savages, and others. One small problem, though — the British electronic music producer was introduced as “James Blunt.”

Mercury Prize host Lauren Laverne accidentally tarnished a moment many musicians dream of by calling James Blake “James Blunt” as she introduced him at the awards ceremony.
The 25-year-old electronic artist prepared to perform on stage as a nominee at the event, when Laverne mistakenly said the name of the “Your Beautiful” singer-songwriter, to the amusement of the crowd.
Blake, to his credit, wasn’t sweating it:
When asked about the mistake by the BBC, Blake said: “That’s happened quite a few times. But you know what? To Lauren I say: ‘Don’t worry about it, you’re amazing’. I certainly don’t care.”
Blake comes to the House of Blues in Boston on November 5. Tickets are still available.
