Holy shit, Halloween has come early. Industrial/darkwave pioneers Skinny Puppy have announced a 2014 North American tour, and the 29-date swing hits Royale in Boston on February 15. Just after Valentine’s Day — how romantic!
Tickets go on sale this Friday through boweryboston.com. We think this is their first Boston appearance since 2007, when they played Avalon.
Skinny Puppy released their 12th studio album Weapon back in May. And according to Wiki: “The capital letters in the tracks can be arranged to read “CULLT”, and the O from the bonus track “Overdose” can be added to the message, making it read “OCULLT”. Ogre’s side project with Mark Walk (Ohgr) used the same method to conceal a message in their first two albums.”
