Back in May when Young the Giant lit up Boston Calling, the SoCal indie band unveiled at least one new track, the slow-burning “Fire.” After all, it had been nearly three years since their self-titled breakthrough debut, and the band was no doubt eager to show off some new tunes. Fans were equally excited to digest them on the warm confines of City Hall PLaza.
About six months later, “It’s About Time.”
Young The Giant today unveiled a new single and David Vincent Wolf-directed music video, and spilled the beans on their upcoming sophomore record, titled Mind Over Matter and out January 21, 2014. The band is celebrating with a handful of radio gigs to close out the year, including Providence, Rhode Island’s 95.5 WBRU Birthday Bash on November 13.
