Editor’s Note: A few weeks ago Psychic TV came crashing back to our senses with Alienist, a new record that merged originals from the beautifully warped mind of Genesis P-Orridge with covers of classics by the Creation and Harry Nilsson. It’s an odd pairing, but like most things involving Psychic TV, the oddness seems to work out. On Saturday night, the forever forward experimental art-rock group played Brighton Music Hall in Allston, the final stop on a quick East Coast run. Boston psych trio Dyr Faser, a group featuring Eric Boomhower, Thalia Zedek, and Kate Murray, provided opening sounds. Vanyaland’s Ben Stas was in the room to capture all the sonic delights, and you can view his full gallery below.
