Editor’s Note: This hasn’t exactly been the age of the rock star, but it’s still been a treat to watch the impressive rise of Fitz And The Tantrums. A few short years after rocking intimate Allston clubs, the Los Angeles neo-soul ensemble led by the magnetic Michael Fitzpatrick is now a big-ticket mainstay, delivering the same energetic performances in far larger rooms. In town supporting their latest, self-titled album and vibrant radio-ripper single “HandClap”, Fitz tore up the House of Blues in Boston last night. British upstart Barns Courtney provided opening duties, and Vanyaland’s Eddy Leiva was up close to deliver shots of both. Check his full gallery below.
