Last month we shot a bit of pink enthusiasm all over our screens for Garbage’s latest single, a driving alt-rock track called “Empty” that had some revved up, shoegaze-esque guitarwork It was the first taste of new record Strange Little Birds, due June 10 on the band’s own label, STUNVOLUME, and at the time Garbage only had a few summer festival dates planned for here in the States.
That’s all changed this morning, as Garbage have announced a 20-date summer tour that kicks off July 6 at Summerfest in Milwaukee and wraps August 3 at the Lincoln Theatre in DC. Towards the end of the run is a July 28 appearance at the House of Blues in Boston.
