Editor’s Note: Wild Belle are doing some pretty interesting things to pop music. Combining elements of country, reggae, jazz, folk, and various Caribbean sounds, the Chicago-born brother/sister duo of Elliot and Natalie Bergman have injected a fresh new life into the three-minute pop song, with results that jump out of the speakers. Last night, in support of new record Dreamland, out earlier this month via Sony, Wild Belle rolled through Brighton Music Hall in Allston and showed us they more than justify the hype.
