A few weeks ago it was revealed that the Avett Brothers, Of Monsters and Men, and Gregory Alan Isakov would play the Friday slate of this month’s Boston Calling Music Festival, set to take place over three days and nights, September 25 to 27, at City Hall Plaza. Now, the weekend slate has come into full view.
According to festival organizers, Alt-J will headline on Saturday after sets from CHVRCHES, Chromeo, Walk The Moon, Father John Misty, and others. Sunday is capped off by Alabama Shakes, who headline after performances by Hozier, Ben Howard, Misterwives, Bully, and more.
On the local front, Grey Season play on Saturday, while Dirty Bangs kick off the Holy Day.
Saturday and Sunday single day tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Thursday, September 3) at 10 a.m. local time via bostoncalling.com. The individual set times for each performance will be posted in the next few weeks, probably a few days before the festival arrives at Government Center.
