We’re now more than a year beyond the release of Morrissey’s latest record, Would Peace Is None Of Your Business, but the former Smiths singer is still out on the airwaves showing off its best sides. In June he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and last night, Mozzer dropped by The Late Late Show with James Corden to perform recent single “Kiss Me A Lot.”
Oddly, around this time last year, Morrissey wrote that no TV talk show wanted him.
“In answer to many people who have asked, I should like to finally make it clear that I have not received any television invitations – worldwide! – to either discuss World Peace Is None Of Your Business, or even to sing any songs from the album,” he wrote, via the NME.
Now that that’s been rectified, the currently record label-less Morrissey is in pure audition mode, and he was in fine form last night. Watch video of the performance below, and stay tuned for more tour dates. Mozzer played Worcester a few weeks ago, but hopefully he’s back in New England soon.
