Whether or not you’re a religious person, there should be a significant amount of CHVRCHES in your life this fall. The Scottish electronic pop trio release their sophomore album, Every Open Eye, September 25 via Glassnote Records, and later that weekend perform live at Boston Calling Music Festival. The next month, there may or may not be a certain Halloween show featuring the group’s instantly-recognizable hits, like “The Mother We Share,” “Recover,” and current single and first track off the LP, “Leave A Trace.”
That last song today gets the music video treatment, and the atmospheric clip showcases a confident Lauren Mayberry with visuals and vibes that wouldn’t be out of place on MTV in the late-’80s.
