The Zombies are returning to North America, and this news has nothing to do with that TV show.
The massively influential British pop group, responsible for such classics as “She’s Not There,” “Time of the Season,” and “This Will Be Our Year,” are set to tour the States later this year, kicking off September 30 in Dallas. More dates, hopefully including a Boston show, should be announced soon. UPDATE 10:53 a.m.: The Zombies Fan Club just posted the dates, which you can find down below, and they include an October 3 show at Provincetown Town Hall on Cape Code and an October 6 date at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston.
The band revealed this morning on social media that this will be the first U.S. performance — featuring 1967/1968 sophomore album Odessey and Oracle in its entirety — of all original living members in roughly 50 years. Guitarist Paul Atkinson died in 2004.

It has been 5 decades since the original Zombies’ line-up last toured the States. Our final album together was released in 1968, but we never got a chance to perform it live for our American fans.
Starting on September 30th in Dallas, that is all going to change!!!!
That’s right! The Zombies are returning to the USA, and bringing some special friends – the incredible Chris White and Hugh Grundy – to perform “Odessey & Oracle” in its entirety! The original line-up (minus the sorely-missed Paul Atkinson) will join the current line-up for a very special evening of Zombies music, past and present. Whether you missed us in the 1960’s, or just discovered us yesterday, we hope you can join us on this journey today!
