The week-long Outside The Box music and arts festival kicks off tomorrow night, but it’s how the Boston Common celebration ends on Sunday that has gotten our attention. Billed as a Boston music showcase, Outside The Box will conclude with an increased local flavor, adding Bad Rabbits, Will Dailey, Air Traffic Controller, Ruby Rose Fox, and Shea Rose to its Beacon Street stage.
Like the rest of Outside the Box — which features a mix of homegrown artists like Walter Sickert & the Army of Broken Toys, Ben Knight, and Nemes with national acts like the Gin Blossoms, Guster, Kacey Musgraves, and New Politics — the show is free and all ages. Ruby Rose Fox hits the stage at 4 p.m., and Bad Rabbits close things out by 9 p.m.
“Outside the Box is designed to inspire by making the arts accessible to all,” says
Boston-based philanthropist, arts enthusiast, and Outside The Box organizer Ted Cutler in a press release. “For six days, we are going to celebrate the arts, showcasing an amazing group of performers and exposing attendees to an incredible array of cultures and genres. It is truly going to be an amazing event.”
