Oh shit — the Dunking is back at it again, folks. Not content with watching his best boy go out and star in another Christopher Nolan masterpiece, our hometown hero Ben Affleck has cued up a brand-new feature, Animals, which he directed, co-wrote, and starred in. In case you missed Air, the last movie he directed, it turns out that Affleck is still one hell of a filmmaker, so you better bet we’re excited for this riff on Hostage. He’s one “Gimme back my son!” away from being better than Mel Gibson in both the kidnapping thriller and in the director’s chair.
Netflix dropped a teaser for the project earlier on Wednesday, which gives you a good look at the stacked cast — Kerry Washington, Gillian Anderson, Adriana Paz, Steven Yeun and more — as well as a reason to not cancel the service just yet.
