Isabel LaRosa, Psychopomp Tour, May 9
As we predicted last year from new music features to Year in ReView, the star shine of Isabel LaRosa continues to grow brighter. The alt-pop singer from Maryland is poised for a big year ahead, readying her debut album Raven and setting out on another headline tour that rolls into the Paradise Rock Club in Boston on May 9. This week we were treated to a stirring new single called “Home,” which leans into drum n’ bass elements, and we may as well make some room on our Best of 2025 lists already. “This song is about my parents selling my childhood house and moving away from my hometown,” LaRosa writes on Instagram. “It’s about watching my siblings growing up from afar and wishing I could be there with them. I’m so grateful that even though I’m leaving behind my childhood and some of the family I had back then, I’ve found my new family with all of you guys. You guys mean the absolute world to me.” Tickets go on sale Friday (February 21) at 10 a.m. local time.
