Unlike Tom Cruise, Boston comedy crowds have historically been able to handle the truth when it comes to artists keeping it real on stage. In the case of Caleb Hearon, he’s making his way to town to make sure that notion still stands, with a whole lot of fun at the ready.

As announced earlier this week, Hearon will be bringing the joy, playful chaos, and whimsy of his hit podcast, So True, to life with a full cross-country tour this spring, which will be capped off with one night at The Wilbur on April 17. Over the course of the past year since its February 2024 premiere, So True has amassed over 175,000 listeners as a result of Hearon’s top-tier ability to not only spark up a deep and expansive conversation with his guests, but to also make the atmosphere of the show a comfortable and enticing place for fellow comedians and other artists to sit down and talk about any and all possible subjects of the day.

Following his first guest in Chris Fleming, Hearon has hosted a cavalcade of comedic talent including Stavros Halkias, Trixie Mattel, Jaboukie Young-White, Adam Conover, and so many more who have held captivating conservations on everything from food and entertainment, to cultural and social issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community.

Adding onto their own respective upcoming stops in the city, Jessica Kirson has added a 9:45 p.m. show at The Wilbur on April 26, while Cary Elwes will be sticking around a bit longer with a 3 p.m. matinee get-together at The Wilbur scheduled for October 5.

Tickets for these shows can be accessed via The Regulars pre-sale now, before venue pre-sale can be accessed on Thursday (January 23) at 10 a.m. ET by using the code VANYA. General on-sale starts on Friday (January 24) at 10 a.m. ET.
