Our Fest Intentions roadmap has so far in 2025 taken us to wild, far-off places like Tennessee, Utah, and Allston, and now we get a chance to cruise down I-95 to Virginia for Iron Blossom Music Festival. The end-of-summer fest in the state capital of Richmond goes down September 20 and 21 at the Midtown Green (formerly the Training Center on Leigh), and boasts a pretty solid mix of performers.
Headlining this third edition of Iron Blossom are The Lumineers and Vampire Weekend, with Khruangbin (pictured), Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Kate Bollinger highlighting the lineup. Also appearing are Friko, The 502s, Dexter & The Moonrocks, Paper Kites, Teskey Brothers, Watchhouse, Butcher Brown, Futurebirds, Medium Build, Hazlett, Palmyra, Improvement Movement, and others. “We’re thrilled to bring Iron Blossom back to Richmond for its third year,” fest organizers say in a press release. “The energy and love from the community has made this festival something truly special. Year three is all about bringing the very best to Richmond and setting the new standard for the region.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Thursday (January 23) at noon local time via the festival homepage.
