Spiritbox, Tsunami Sea North American Tour, April 19
There’s a force brewing from the north, and it descends on our unsuspecting city in the spring. Spiritbox, the two-time Grammy-nominated progressive metal band from British Columbia, have outlined a powerful North American tour package that crashes Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway on April 19, bringing Loathe, Dying Wish, and GEL along for what promises to be a very loud ride. Spiritbox are hitting the road in support of their highly anticipated sophomore album Tsunami Sea, which hits March 7 via Pale Chord/Rise Records. The tour news comes after Spiritbox were nominated for a second Grammy in the Best Metal Performance category, for “Cellar Door” off last year’s The Fear of Fear EP. The band writes on Insta: “Thank you to the @recordingacademy for our nomination in the best metal performance category for ‘Cellar Door’. We are so honored to be nominated two years in a row off the same EP and to be amongst all these incredible nominees.” Give it a spin below. Tickets go on sale on Friday (December 6) at 10 a.m. local time.
