Editor’s Note: Welcome to V3 Weekend, Vanyaland‘s guide to help you sort out your weekend entertainment with curated selections and recommendations across our three pillars of MusicComedy, and Film/TV. It’s what you should know about, where you need to be, and where you’ll be going, with us riding shotgun along the way.

Music: Kelly at Medusa Brewing Company

When a relatively random event could be easily slotted in any of V3’s Music, Comedy, or Film/TV categories, you know it’s a good one, betch. So imagine our joy when we saw Kelly, comedian and actor Liam Kyle Sullivan’s viral 2000s-era “Shoes”-loving, electroclash-throbbing queen, was making an appearance at Medusa Brewing Company in Hudson on Sunday (October 27), part of a whirlwind weekend that also takes the Massachusetts native out to Salem for a drag show a day earlier. We probably wouldn’t recommend heading to Salem this weekend, because OMG, so it’s Hudson for us, as Kelly posts up at her “cousin’s brewery” to perform live, meet some peeps, and bartend. Yeah she’s serving drinks. And guess what? It might be a total shitshow, deck. “I’ve never bartended before in my life,” Kelly reveals on Insta. “So what could go wrong? You’ll have to be there to find out. See you there, betch.”

KELLY :: Sunday, October 27 at Medusa Brewing Company, 111 Main St. in Hudson, MA :: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., 21-plus, $7 :: Facebook event page :: EventBrite

Comedy: Natasha Leggero at Laugh Boston

We love her in the roasts, and we love her on stage. So we’re psyched that Natasha Leggero is back to hold court this weekend (October 25 and 26) at Laugh Boston in the Seaport. As always, Mic’d Up breaks it down: “It’s been a hot minute since we last caught Leggero in town, but rest assured that there is still no defeating her. Whether it’s discussing the ever-evolving oddities of parenthood and marriage, or taking aim at the nonsense she sees outside of her own home, Leggero remains one of the most potent comedic forces in the game.”

NATASHA LEGGERO :: Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 at Laugh Boston, 425 Summer St. in Boston, MA :: 7 and 10 p.m. both nights, $33 :: Advance tickets

Film/TV: Halloween Horror Marathon at The Coolidge

There are lots of Halloween-themed events this weekend, but there is only one Halloween Horror Marathon. The Coolidge Corner Theatre’s annual 12-hour overnighter hits the spooky screen this Saturday (October 26) for its 23rd edition with The Invisible Man and The Fly as lead entries, followed by five surprise films to take us to the morning after. Here’s the word from the Brookline cinema: “The Halloween Horror Marathon is back from the lab and ready to throw the switch on 12 hours of terror! Join us for a night of weird experiments and horrifying hypotheses — all in 35mm! You’ll hardly believe what your eyes won’t see when The Invisible Man (1933) hits the screen in stunning black and white! From there, Jeff Goldblum’s Brundlefly will transport you through skin-crawling body horror as you witness a transformation like no other in The Fly (1986)! The only films more shocking than the first two in this program are the final five! Can you survive 12 hours of deranged doctors, or will you end up in the specimen jar!?”

HALLOWEEN HORROR MARATHON :: Thursday, October 24 at The Coolidge Corner Theatre, 290 Harvard St. in Brookline, MA :: 11:30 p.m., $38.75 for the double feature and $48.75 for the all-nighter :: Event page and tickets
