Saint Motel, The Symphony in the Sky Tour, May 4

Ain’t no party like a Saint Motel party, and now the indie-pop brigade is taking it to the people just when we need it most. The Los Angeles band this week announced The Symphony in the Sky Tour, coming to North America this spring, and included in the healthy itinerary is a May 4 romp at Boston’s Citizens House of Blues. The news comes fresh off the reveal of the group’s fourth studio album, Saint Motel & the Symphony in the Sky, arriving in February, and getting us super excited about it is an infectious new single called “Stay Golden,” produced by BEKON (Kendrick Lamar, Hozier, H.E.R). It finds Saint Motel in usually fine, euphoric form, and frontman A/J Jackson has this to say about it: “It’s a delicate dance of keeping the light alive while carrying the weight of your own dark shadows.” That’s the truth, for life in ’25 or any other time. Tickets go on sale Friday (September 27) at 10 a.m. local time.
