From dropping her bops on V:Music playlists in the ’10s to aiding her quest for oysters in Boston post-pandemic, we have long supported our girl UPSAHL. Now the alt-pop singer roars back in a big way with the Melt Me Down Tour, which comes after a series of shows with Madison Beer and gets announced on the eve of a new single called “Summer So Hot” dropping this Friday. The 40-date international headlining tour — hells yeah girl! — takes UPSAHL across North America and Europe with her name atop the marquee, and hits Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on September 30. Thanks to climate change, and this feeling that the changing seasons have been delayed a month lately, summer will probably still be scorching SO HOT as we stare down October. Prep for the upcoming single with the “No Hands (Side A)” visualizer below, from last year’s THE PHX TAPES, and welcome UPSAHL back to town with oysters and more.
