A few weeks ahead of her Boston Calling performance, the Boston rapper has dropped a summer-ready salute to ladies nights. “Is it shot o’clock?” she asks a pool’s worth of girlfriends on “Bad Bitch Link Up,” encouraging her crew to drain their Solo cups in the new single and video. Amidst the sunbathing and shot-pouring, fellow emcee MARQUISE! (who previously released music as OG Swaggerdick) bursts in for a few bars — ”Nine inch nails / Not the band, the acrylics” — before graciously returning the floor to the event’s rapping ringleader.
