With his last visit to Massachusetts cut short, you may have thought you escaped the wrath of Anthony Jeselnik. However, he’s back like comedy’s resident Freddy Krueger after having some extra time to bulk up his latest hour even more.
Starting tonight (April 24) at The Wilbur, Jeselnik is making good on a few shows he had to reschedule as part of his sold-out Massachusetts run this past December in support of his current show, Bones and All. Just as he did on the original first leg of the tour, the Pennsylvania native has continued to pack theaters all over the country, with a full international trek kicking off with a sold out show in Portugal in September. As we noted in Mic’d Up, after tonight, he exits the city and hits Medford’s Chevalier on Thursday (April 25).
Having just recorded his upcoming special with a release date TBD, it will mark Jeselnik’s latest project since his third special, Fire In The Maternity Ward premiered in 2019. Aside from stand-up, he’s been fairly quiet away from the stage, but still continues to co-host his successful podcast, The Jeselnik & Rosenthal Vanity Project alongside NFL analyst and longtime friend Gregg Rosenthal.
